FAQ

Lashlifts & Brow Lamination

Lash Lift

  • A lash lift is a semi-permanent curl for your natural lashes—no extensions, no glue, no commitment issues. We lift your lashes from the root so they look longer, darker, and more awake. Basically, your lashes on their best behaviour.

  • Expect 6–8 weeks of lifted lashes, depending on your natural growth cycle and aftercare. There’s no harsh grow-out—your lashes just slowly return to baseline like civilized adults.

  • Yes. Tint is included unless you ask us not to. It deepens the color of your lashes so they pop without mascara. Blonde, light, or invisible lashes—consider this your glow-up.

  • No—when done properly. We use professional-grade products and precise timing because over-processed lashes are not the vibe. Healthy lashes are the priority. Always.

  • About 45–60 minutes. You’ll be laying down with your eyes closed. Many clients nap. Zero judgment.

  • Come in with:

    • Clean lashes (no mascara, no eye makeup, no lash serum)

    • No waterproof mascara for 48 hours prior

    • Contact lenses removed before your service

Showing up prepped = best results. Teamwork makes the dream work.

  • For the first 24 hours, avoid:

    • Water, steam, sweat, or saunas

    • Mascara or eye makeup

    • Rubbing your eyes or sleeping face-down

After 24 hours? You’re free. We do recommend a lash conditioner to keep lashes strong and glossy—but we’re not the boss of you.

  • Yes—after 24 hours. Most clients find they don’t need it, but if you do, skip waterproof formulas to keep your lift looking fresh longer.

  • You may want to skip or reschedule if you:

    • Have active eye infections or irritation

    • Recently had eye surgery

    • Have extremely damaged or brittle lashes

Not sure? Message us first. We prefer transparency over regret.

  • Every 6–8 weeks is ideal. More often isn’t better—this is about timing, not impatience.

  • Generally yes, but hormones can be unpredictable and results may vary. We recommend waiting until your second trimester and managing expectations accordingly.

Korean Method

Lash Lift

  • The Korean Method lash lift is a next-generation lash lift technique focused on lash health, precision, and customization. It uses gentler solutions, advanced wrapping methods, and tailored curl placement to create lifted lashes that look clean, glossy, and naturally perfect—not crunchy, kinked, or overdone.

In short: it’s the elevated version of a traditional lash lift.

  • Glad you asked. The Korean Method:

        •    Uses lower-toxicity, lash-safe solutions

        •    Focuses on hydration and structure, not just curl

        •    Allows for custom curl mapping based on eye shape and lash direction

        •    Produces a softer grow-out with better lash integrity

This is a quality-over-speed approach. Think luxury, not assembly line.

  • This method is ideal if you:

        •    Want a more natural, polished result

        •    Have fine, straight, or downward-growing lashes

        •    Have had lifts in the past and want healthier results

        •    Care about long-term lash condition (as you should)

If your lashes have ever felt dry or fried after a lift—this is your upgrade.

  • Results last 6–8 weeks, depending on your lash cycle and aftercare. The grow-out is smooth and intentional, not chaotic.

  • Yes. Tint is included unless you request otherwise. The Korean Method paired with a tint gives that effortless “are those even real?” effect.

  • No. This method is designed specifically to minimize damage and over-processing. We prioritize precise timing, hydration, and structural integrity. Strong lashes > dramatic mistakes.

  • Approximately 60–75 minutes. This is a meticulous service—rushing would defeat the point.

  • Please arrive with:

        •    Clean lashes (no mascara, makeup, or lash serum)

        •    No waterproof mascara for 48 hours prior

        •    Contact lenses removed

Preparation matters. Results depend on it.

  • For the first 24 hours, avoid:

        •    Water, steam, sweating, or saunas

        •    Eye makeup or mascara

        •    Rubbing your eyes or sleeping face-down

After 24 hours, you’re good to go. We recommend a nourishing lash serum to maintain strength and shine.

  • Yes—after 24 hours. Most clients don’t feel the need, but if you do, avoid waterproof formulas to preserve the lift and lash health.

  • Every 6–8 weeks is ideal. This technique supports repeat services without compromising lash condition when properly spaced.

  • Generally yes, but hormonal changes can affect results. We recommend waiting until the second trimester and understanding that outcomes may vary.

Korean Method vs. Traditional Lash Lift—what’s the takeaway?

        •    Traditional Lash Lift: Faster, more basic, higher risk of over-processing

        •    Korean Method: Health-focused, customized, refined, and modern

If you want lashes that look expensive without trying—this is it.

Brow Lamination

  • Brow lamination is a semi-permanent brow treatment that reshapes and sets your natural brow hairs into a fuller, lifted, more defined shape. It smooths unruly brows, fills visual gaps, and creates a polished, fluffy look—without needles or permanent makeup.

If your brows don’t stay put, this is the fix.

  • Brow lamination is ideal for:

        •    Sparse or uneven brows

        •    Brows that grow downward, sideways, or inconsistently

        •    Clients wanting fuller brows without microblading

        •    Anyone tired of daily brow styling

    It’s structure without commitment.

  • Results last 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural hair growth and aftercare. Brows grow out gradually with no harsh regrowth line.

  • No. Brow tint is a separate add-on service.

Lamination changes the shape and direction of the brows. Tint enhances color and definition. Many clients choose both, but it’s optional and fully customizable.

  • Yes—when performed by trained professionals using high-quality products. At HoneyBox, brow health is non-negotiable. Proper timing and conditioning prevent damage and maintain hair integrity.

  • Approximately 45–60 minutes.

  • For best results:

        •    Arrive with clean brows (no makeup, oils, or skincare)

        •    Avoid retinol, exfoliants, or acids near the brows for 3–5 days prior

        •    Do not book if you’ve had brow lamination within the last 6–8 weeks

    Preparation directly impacts results.

  • For the first 24 hours, avoid:

        •    Water, steam, sweating, or saunas

        •    Brow makeup or brow products

        •    Touching or excessive brushing

After 24 hours, brush brows daily and apply a nourishing brow oil or serum to maintain flexibility and shine.

  • Yes—after 24 hours. Most clients need significantly less product, but pencil or powder can be used for additional definition.

  • Every 6–8 weeks is recommended. Over-laminating weakens the hair and compromises results. Timing matters.

  • Brow lamination may not be suitable if you:

        •    Have active skin irritation, sunburn, or broken skin

        •    Recently had chemical peels, laser, or microneedling near the brows

        •    Have severely damaged or over-processed brow hairs

If you’re unsure, contact us before booking.

  • Generally yes, though hormonal changes can affect results and longevity. We recommend waiting until the second trimester.
