Welcome to the Hive! We designed our First-Time Brazilian service just for you-because every body belongs here. No matter your shape, size, gender, or experience level, you’re always welcome at Honeybox.
No need to be nervous- just let your esthetician know it’s your first time, and they’ll guide you through the process step by step. Since it’s your first wax, your hair follicles are still deeply rooted (they’ve never been evicted before), so it can take 2–3 wax cycles to hit peak smooth.
-
Can I wax on my period? Absolutely, queen bee! Your cycle doesn’t stop your smooth. Just keep in mind, right before or during your period you might feel a little extra ouch since hormones can crank up sensitivity.
Pro tip: The sweetest time for down-there waxing is mid-cycle, when things tend to feel calmer.
If you’re buzzing into Honeybox during your period, we simply ask that you pop in a fresh tampon before your service and we’ll take care of the rest.

Nope, babe! We don’t recommend trimming before your appointment. If the hair is too short, the wax can’t grab it- and that means less smooth for you. Plus, trimming can actually encourage more hair growth (and that’s the opposite of what we’re going for).
Just come as you are- we’ll handle the rest.

Think of waxing like keeping a good buzz going it's all about timing. We recommend every 5–6 weeks so your hair has time to grow in fully (different hairs, different cycles!).
The payoff? Longer-lasting, smoother results aka more time feeling silky and less time thinking about stubble.
-
Aim for about ¼” roughly 3 weeks post-wax or 4 weeks post-shave. Too short and we risk breakage… nobody wants stubble sabotage. Trust us, patience pays off.
-
Because shaving is basically a bandaid for lazy hair. Waxing yanks that fuzz from the root, leaving skin silky, smooth, and ready to slay for weeks. Keep it consistent and those stubborn follicles? They start to quit.
-
2–3 days before your glow-up moment is ideal - weddings, vacays, anniversaries, you name it. First-time waxer? Babe, let’s do a full cycle first. Your skin deserves to show off, not throw a tantrum.
-
Your freshly waxed skin is delicate, darling. No sweaty hook-ups! Skip friction, workouts, and steam sessions for a hot minute. Treat it like royalty and your pores will bow in gratitude.

Stay hydrated, exfoliate lightly, and rock that smoothness with confidence. Because smooth skin isn’t just a vibe… it’s a lifestyle.
